MULTIGARD-2000 is available in two basic configurations: Computerized Multiplex
System (CMS) and Hardwire System (HWS)
Highly Reliable Detection
MULTIGARD-2000 is both highly sensitive and extremely reliable. The system is based on the principle of Magnetic Anomaly Detection (MAD), an outstanding feature that allows MULTIGARD-2000 to instantly identify an intruder carrying or wearing any feromagnetic object, even hob-nailed boots!
MAD permits MULTIGARD-2000 to distinguish between actual intruders and stray animals, birds, a strong wind, heavy rain, fog, snow, a floating leaf or bits of paper – all of which generally trigger other intrusion detection systems.
Proven Operation
MULTIGARD-2000 is an update of a highly effective “Electrogard” MIL-STD system developed for the Defense Forces to counter terrorist infiltration. The original and later versions of the system have been installed at Governmental, Military and private sites in many countries all over the world.
Smart Units
At the heart of the MULTIGARD-2000 system, is the underground smart Field Units (F.U.). Each F.U. controls three sectors of up to 300 meters long each. An F.U. incorporates processing and amplification devices, and a special microcomputer-based signal processor that can distinguish between true and false alarms.

GENERAL
This product is a part of Multigard system. It can be operated with Multigard Field Unit in CMS or HWS as a single detection line or double detection line configuration.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The Pole Detection unit is based on the principle of Magnetic Anomaly Detection (MAD). The Pole Detection is totally concealed and completely passive. The Pole Detection can also effectively operate under any type of ground, concrete roads, runways, between trees, under vegetation, under water, ice, snow and on the top of wall.
Pole Detection detect in volume of 1.5m’ radius all around the pole. All global or local disturbances are filtered out by Multigard advance adaptive algorithms.
LENGTH OF DETECTION ZONES
Multigard Field Unit with two detection channels will have with Single detection line two zones up to 100m each, or one detection zone of 100m with double detection line. For other configuration see the installation manual.

Powerful Multiple Capabilities
COM4000XP is a comprehensive and cost effective computerized security and site management system. The COM4000XP has built in access control and CCTV control display and recording facilities. The Windows NT based software and Microprocessor based communication hardware offer a full integration for a variety of Multimedia subsystems:

Efficient Communication
The COM4000XP has a powerful full duplex communication capability with COM4000XP transponders that serve as the interface logic device between various inputs and outputs and the control center. Additional transponders can be added along the data line to control additional sensor and alarm devices. This allows the computerized multiplex system configuration to be used as a powerful control center for an integrated security system with optional expansion in the future.
All data transmitted and received by the COM4000XP interface to and from the field transponders, is multiplexed into twisted shielded four wire cables that also supply the required power to the Transponder.
Custom Tailored Software
The COM4000XP System is based on a sophisticated Windows XP workstation with Networking capabilities. This intelligent software can be custom tailored to work with 3rd party applications, allowing the user to assign inputs, outputs, priority groups, schedules, passwords, output control and operator instructions. Customizations including, how to respond to incoming alarms and events, as well as creating color graphic maps of floor plans, facility maps etc.
Precise Alarm Identification
When an alarm input or event is activated it is automatically displayed on the relevant map on the color graphic monitor screen, along with an audio buzzer, digital voice and CCTV display of the alarm camera. The exact location of the alarm on the map is determined with the system’s zoom capability.
The online display includes precise descriptions and instructions on how to respond to each incoming alarm.

SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZE PERIMETER PROTECTION
Multi-sensor is an advanced concept in perimeter detection, based on a unique sensor cable that can be mounted on a perimeter fence or wall. Mechanical stress on the sensor cable is converted to electronic signals processed by the digital and analog analyzers in the controller.
The Twin Channels controller distinguishes between actual intruders and false alarms by processing the incoming signals for frequency, amplitude, time sequence and other electronic parameters.
The two major versions of the Multi-sensor System are the Hardwire (HWS) version and the Computerized Multiplex (CMS) version.
- HWS version provides relay dry contacts that can be connected to any standard alarm panel.
- The CMS version contains a multiplex communication installed in the controller. The alarm transmits signals via RS 485 communication data cable to a Pentium PC with dedicated color graphic COM-4000NT system. The CMS version allows the user to control the system sensitivity and system test as well as other field set-up functions from the PC keyboard.

StarLED 200 Outdoor Infrared LED Illuminator
StarLED™ 200 is the most advanced illuminator available. It is a solid-state infrared LED (Light Emitting Diode) illuminator that creates light which, while invisible to the naked eye, illuminates targets for surveillance by standard infrared sensitive CCTV cameras.
StarLED 200 provides the longest-range infrared LED illumination available and has the most uniform coverage. The light it creates is eye-safe at all distances, even for technicians working up close. With a ten-year life expectancy on the diodes, it also has the lowest life-cycle costs in the industry.
Operation and maintenance costs are minimal because the unit consumes very little power, generates little heat and has no bulbs to replace.
StarLED 200 is available in both Spot and Flood illumination patterns at a wavelength of 875 nm. When looking directly at the front plate on a dark night with no other lighting present, a faint red glow can be seen. For those sites requiring totally covert illumination, the Invisible model has a wavelength of 950 nm. All models have a built-in twilight switch.
